How do you make money blogging?

Updated: Mar 21, 2022

Seriously, how do you? Could someone please tell me? I've been blogging for almost a month now and I haven't made a dime. Not only have I not made any money, but I've also invested money into my blog which means I have a negative ROI. That's not good.

So, tell me. How do people make money doing this? I know it can be done. I hear about people all the time who are doing it. But... WHAT ARE THEY DOING?

Whatever it is I haven't figured it out yet. People keep telling me that I've got to find my niche. I'm not even sure at my age that's possible. My niche is that I'm a divorced mom for the 2nd time, I've got 2.5 kids (all boys), 5 pets, 5 horses, and a house in need of repairs.

My niche is that I am talking real talk to a bunch of people who aren't listening. Thats what I do best. I talk to people who don't listen. I've done it my entire life. It started out with my parents when I was young, my grandparents, mostly my grandmother, then it moved to husband #1, to kids, to husband #2, back to kids... I have spent my life talking to people who don't hear me.

So, HOW DO I MAKE MONEY AT IT?

Well, I have an eBay business. So, let's promote that. https://ebay.com/usr/jennhi-75

Next, I have a Poshmark business so let's promote that too. @jhill4282015

I may start selling some vitamin supplements soon too. I don't know yet. I'm testing them myself because if I don't like them I'm not going to be able to sell them for sure. I'm also doing the looking for remote jobs thing. I left on faith remember so I'm doing that too.

Let's look at this. Before I left the job that caused my stomach to knot up and made me feel like I was going to puke every time I logged onto the system I got the kids off to school, did whatever I wanted for an hour, started work at 8a, worked, during short breaks swapped out laundry, or emptied a dishwasher, done at 4p (no lunch) off to get the kids, and deal with the barn and horses. Now, up at 6a, kids to school, 6a-9a work on blog, take care of house, deal with projects, renovations, fixing things that have been neglected for years, 230-330p off to barn, horses, kids, dinner, don't sit or slow down till after dinner around 7-8p, work on all this again till bed at 11p. I'm working harder now than I was when I had a job and I'm not bringing in a dime.

Tell me. Do you blog? Do you make money at it? What is your secret? Would you tell me what I'm doing wrong? What I'm not doing?
